CHEESY POPSICLES

What We Need:

* Grated carrot

* Grated cheese or cottage cheese

* A few finger-sized cut out carrot piece

How to Prepare it:

* Bind the two and make a ball out of them.

* Insert one finger-sized cut out carrot to each popsicle.

* Put them in the fridge to cool for about 10 minutes and voila!!

Points to Note:

* Make sure you use more carrot in proportion as compared to the cheese as we want to feed them cheese in moderation.

* The size can be from small, medium to one big popsicle.

* Feed in moderation, just as a mini snack on special occasions.

* Keep in mind your dog’s age, breed, allergies before offering new treats.

PUMPKIN AND CHICKEN POPSICLES

This is best given in an ice cube form

What you need:

* Pureed pumpkin (1 cup)

* Chicken broth with a few shreds of chicken. (2 cups)

* Clear out an ice cube tray

How to Prepare it:

* Mix the pumpkin puree and the chicken broth in a bowl

* Stir well

* Add the portion to the ice tray

* Freeze it

Once it’s ready, pamper them with a flavoured ice cube occasionally or as a quick snack to keep them busy.

Points to Note:

 * Give the frozen popsicles in moderation. Twice a week in the monsoon is more than enough.

* Give them frequently on hot sunny days.

* Keep in mind your dog’s age, breed, allergies before offering new treats.

* Do not feed them frozen ice cubes everyday.
