In a heartening development from India’s border regions, local stray dogs have emerged as unexpected allies in the country’s efforts to counter terrorist infiltrations , without undergoing any formal military training.
General R.R. Nimbhorkar recently shared that these native dogs have played a crucial role in detecting suspicious activity near the border with Pakistan. “Whenever infiltrators attempt to cross over, these dogs instinctively begin barking, alerting our soldiers in time,” he posted on social media.
