Dr Ajmal Dastagir and John Paul started MIMI BOWBOW INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED in Chennai in 2018. (Mimi for cats and BowBow for dogs). At first, it was a dedicated online platform for cats and dogs that sold pet food, pet care products, and utilities. They made good business initially, clocking around INR 1.8 Cr in revenue in just 10 months.
Then, they started researching and formulated their own brand of high-quality grain-free pet food during COVID-19.
Recently, Dr Ajmal and John Paul came up with India’s first AI health scan for pets, Pet Scan Pro. Pet parents can detect and manage their pets’ medical conditions easily with this product.
This becomes important for busy owners, as they cannot visit a veterinary clinic timely, which can be costly and time-consuming.
So, MimiBowBow recognised this gap and developed India’s first AI-powered pet health scan—Pet Scan Pro.
This AI-driven health scanning solution is for both pet parents and veterinarians that turns any smartphone into a diagnostic tool. So, pet owners can detect early signs of illness in their pets with 95% accuracy.
