When I was at the lowest point of my life , not being able to anticipate what the next day would bring, I decided to bring a pet to my home. I believed I needed something to call my own and nurture it to my fullest extent. I did have one when I was 4 or 5 years old, but unfortunately my mother gave it away when the pup could jump out of the tub.

That day, I thought to myself that one day I would get a pet of my own once I become more responsible. True to that statement, I got Romeo. I wouldn’t have the right words to describe someone as pure, beautiful, and yet simple as my Romeo. The tale went from a love at first sight to carving out space to understand each other, travelling almost everywhere together, becoming best friends, and communicating everything to each other in our own special language.

Romeo is my muse and my inspiration behind Romeo’s kitchen. Romeo’s kitchen has a special story too. A while ago, Romeo had started to show signs of obesity and it was hard to see him in that state. Obesity can be very detramental to a dog’s overall health and well being.

Since I am a certified chef and had done my Hospitality Management in Switzerland, this came very naturally to me . I began to take some nutrition courses and Romeo went from 11kgs to 8kgs. This kickstarted the beautiful journey of Romeo’s Kitchen!

The last 5 years have been truly incredible for me. I have learned and experienced so much of the furry world. My mission is aligned with my craft and love for Romeo. I want to reach out to other pets and help them live healthier lives. Here’s to my furry friend who inspires my heart and purpose in this life!
