My pet dog Snowie means the world to me. Anyone who is a pet parent and doesn’t feel the same way about their fur baby is missing something in his heart. Snowie is not just a furry companion, he’s a cherished and mind it, a chief member of my family. He is a source of joy, comfort, and unconditional love for us.

SNOWIE! He was so Tinie tiny but so sick when we rescued him, I was so afraid for him. I picked him up from the streets on chilly winters and felt out of hope about his survival. I was someone who was indifferent to pets or dogs’ existence and had never even touched a dog before. I was clueless about what needed to be done, but ever since I saw him, my heart has been stuck on Snowie!

As a proud Indie parent, I can say that we were destined to meet. From the moment I rescued him and brought him home, he stole my heart. His wagging tail, warm eyes, and playful demeanour had the power to take away any stress or worries I had. He is my constant companion, always there to greet me with the same passion and a slobbery kiss, no matter how my day goes, there is not a single day that a dull moment with him passes us by.

His boundless energy and enthusiasm for life is contagious. He has given a different definition of life to me. It is all about how we live in the moment and find joy in the simple things, rooting everything in love that is non-judgemental.

But it’s not just the happy moments that my dog has been there for. He’s also been a source of comfort and support during difficult times. He has also taught me important lessons about responsibility, patience, and compassion. Taking care of him requires commitment and dedication, from daily walks and feedings to regular vet visits and grooming sessions. Through it all, I have learned the value of putting someone else’s needs before my own and the rewards that come from nurturing and caring for another living being. He made me feel all the motherly instinct and he is and will always be my first child.

In a world that can often feel chaotic and unpredictable, my dog is my anchor, my constant source of love and companionship. He brings so much joy and meaning to my life, and I am endlessly grateful to have him by my side. My pet dog isn’t just a pet; he’s my loyal friend, my confidant, and my heart walking around on four legs and for that, I will always cherish and adore him.

The Proudest Pet Papa in Town

By Sagar GwalaniI never heard of a Jack Russell Terrier until 2 months before welcoming Monk home. The first time I heard the name, a quick Google search led me to two statements that have continued to define my relationship with my boy.   First - “A JRT is a small...
