JUSTDOGS Celebrates 777Charlie and Unconditional Love
Every once in a while, there comes a film that celebrates the fur-ever love between our doggos and us. The love that keeps us going, lights up our lives and adds more joy to everyday. The love of a pet is one of a kind, unconditional and for always. So when we stumbled upon a movie that showcases and celebrates the relationship with such emotion, we had to share it with more paw-rents. But at JUSTDOGS, we believe in going the extra mile for you. So we did and got almost 500 pet moms and dads to watch 777 Charlie. What happened then was nothing short of magic!
“I am so-so glad I saw this movie on the big screen. I can’t wait to go back and hug my Buddy. I missed him so much and in fact in my head, I planned a trip to the mountains with him,” said a teary-eyed Soumya Gokhale from Pune who was amongst the many winners who indulged in fun contests on JUSTDOGS social media and won the ‘treat’.
Rakshit Shetty’s 777 Charlie celebrates the absolute and unreserved love between humans and their pets. “Being pet lovers, the movie was a journey for us and we knew we had to share the feeling. It’s sure to make you laugh and cry, smile and bawl – even as you enjoy the journey that Charlie takes Dharma on,” says Poorvi Anthony, Co-founder of JUSTDOGS, India’s largest specialty retailer of services and solutions for the lifetime needs of pets. They did the screening in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune
It is the story of a human and one canine who find a kindred spirit in each other and set out on a journey of self-discovery and redemption. It has gathered many a woofs. Says Raman Iyer, a young paw-rent from Bengaluru, “This is my first movie since the lockdown and I am so glad that it is this one! As a techie living far away from home, my pet Tobby is the only family I have here. I adopted him during the lockdown and some scenes of the movie had me fighting my tears thinking of Tobby and the journey that we have had. I loved it to bits.”
The movie has received rave reviews and ratings all over. But the connection that pet mommies and daddies would find with the movie is unprecedented. While there are plenty of moments that will light up your heart and bring a smile to your face, we highly recommend getting those tissue boxes that you hide from that naughty doggo.
