The vibrant city of Bangkok will welcome back the global pet industry next month. With companies from 40 countries confirmed as exhibitors on the show floor and 10,000 trade visitors from 70 countries expected to attend the 2023 edition of Pet Fair South East Asia, international pet industry stakeholders are in for a highly remarkable experience from October 25-27.

About Pet Fair South East Asia:

Organized in Bangkok, Thailand, Pet Fair South East Asia provides the international pet industry with a fully business-to-business Partnership Hub for Distribution, Retail, and Sourcing. Following the successful inaugural edition in 2022, which saw trade visitors from 60 countries in attendance, the 2023 edition, already confirmed to double in size, is now aiming for new heights.

Exhibiting Companies from 40 countries:

As of mid-September, companies from over 40 countries have been confirmed as exhibitors on the show floor. The largest exhibitor group consists of pet food companies (29%), followed by pet snacks companies (21%), pet healthcare companies (12%), pet hygiene companies (10%), and pet accessory companies (9%). Additionally, leading pet food ingredient companies will showcase a wide range of solutions and raw materials. The organizers are pleased to announce a fantastic international-to-local exhibitor ratio, with 32% of exhibiting companies coming from Thailand and 68% from abroad. The largest international exhibitor group hails from Korea (14% of all exhibitors), followed by China (13%), India (5%), USA (5%), and Japan (4%). The show will feature dedicated country pavilions from various markets including China, Taiwan, USA, and Canada. Trade visitors to the show will have the opportunity to meet a wide range of international exhibitors showcasing a diverse array of product categories.

Early Visitor Registrations from 55 countries:

As of mid-September, pet industry stakeholders from 55 different countries have pre-registered for the show. The largest visitor group comprises Importers/Distributors (35.7%), followed by brand owners seeking new private label partnerships (15.7%), Wholesalers (11.6%), Retailers (11.4%), and Veterinarians (7%). Pre-registered trade visitors will be able to participate in a comprehensive online matchmaking program, enabling them to connect with brands and suppliers in which they are already interested prior to the show.

We are very pleased with the early pre-registration numbers,” states Johannes C. Kraus, Project Manager of Pet Fair South East Asia. “We are confident not only in doubling the show in size in terms of exhibiting square meters but also in terms of attending visitor numbers. We are looking forward to delivering the international pet industry with a highly memorable show experience in October.”

Networking Events:

Pet Fair South East Asia 2023 will feature two different networking events. The first networking event will take place on the evening of Show Day 1, October 25, within the exhibition hall and will be open to the general public. On the evening of Day 2, October 26, the already infamous exhibitor networking night ‘One Night in Bangkok’ will make its return. The venue will be Cielo Skybar in Phra Khanong, providing exhibitors and their key customers with an opportunity to continue their discussions while enjoying Bangkok’s spectacular nighttime city view. Admittance for ‘One Night in Bangkok’ is only possible with a valid ticket. Networking Tickets will be distributed to exhibitors based on their booth size. Trade visitors can request tickets from their exhibiting suppliers. Additionally, a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase within the hall on October 26.
