Expect the unexpected! Life always has a set of surprises ready when we just don’t expect it. Howsoever do we plan, there will always be an unexpected Bollywood movie twist, waiting there, right just for us. Even if there are difficult times, the universe sends out a ray of hope and sunshine to keep you going. That’s what Honey has been in Chirayu’s life.

Chirayu Gupta is the father to this amazingly cute four years old American Akita, Honey. He got this bundle of happiness when she was just 45–50 days old.

Like most of us, Chirayu always wanted a pet dog ever since he was a kid. And, similarly, like every other mother out there, his mom too denied to have a pet. He tried multiple times to convince his family but it didn’t really work out. A few years down the lane, his sister got a black-coloured pug, named Tank. Though, it was at her in-laws place, but it was the first paw-member of their family and turned out to be a game-changer for Chirayu. Slowly and gradually, he convinced his mother and after a while, she agreed.

Initially, when Chirayu showed his mother the picture of an American Akita, it was this small cute pup out there and she thought it would be the same. She went into utter shock when it started growing up but by then Honey had already paved her way to everyone’s heart.

However, life’s not always fair! Honey lost her eyesight due to the dreadful disease of Babesia. Everyone was scared in the beginning, and Chirayu was shaken to core. Due to this behaviour, even Honey started feeling anxious. But no sooner did he realize, it’s absolutely normal. Honey is a piece of their hearts and she is a lot stronger and braver than this.

The day Chirayu started understanding Honey and letting go of his insecurities, she also started reciprocating with the same positivity. At times, he would feel bad while seeing other dogs playing and goofing around, it would tingle him from inside. But then it hits that Honey is the same loving kid of theirs. She’s still the same sweet playful bundle of joy, then why should anyone out there feel different?

It’s been two years and things have been just fine. There were times when Chairyu faced extremely minute difficulties. Like Honey needs guidance while climbing stairs or getting down. But she never gave up. And that’s what we all need to learn from her.

No matter what life throws at us, never give up and keep thriving. You have to keep moving forward in life because there are people out there who care for you. Life is always going to be a mixed bag of experiences. But if you believe in yourself, you are definitely going to sail through it. And you never know, just like Honey you could be someone’s ray of hope and inspiration.
